The terms under which you may use MegaTools, including acceptable use and limitations.

Using MegaTools

MegaTools is provided for lawful use. You keep all rights to the files you upload; we claim no ownership over your content and use it only to perform the operation you requested.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to process.
  • Attempt to remove protection from documents you do not own.
  • Upload malware, or attempt to attack or overload the service.
  • Circumvent rate limits, quotas or plan restrictions.
  • Resell or redistribute the service without a commercial agreement.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Free tiers are subject to rate limits and daily quotas that may change.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". Always keep your own copy of any important document: conversion is inherently lossy for some formats, and we are not liable for loss of data or for decisions made on the basis of a converted file or a calculator result.
